The 1927 Rolls-Royce Phantom I was equipped with a 7.7-liter (approximately 468 cubic inches) inline-six engine, an evolution of the powerplant used in the earlier Silver Ghost. This engine featured pushrod-operated overhead valves and a detachable cylinder head, a significant improvement for maintenance and performance. The Phantom I's engine produced around 95 horsepower, sufficient for effortless cruising in luxury.
