The 1938 Graham 97 Supercharged Cabriolet by Saoutchik is a striking example of pre-war American automotive innovation and French coachbuilding artistry. Built on Graham-Paige's "Spirit of Motion" chassis, it featured aerodynamic design elements like a jutting prow, pontoon fenders, and integrated headlights. French coachbuilder Jacques Saoutchik transformed this chassis into a custom cabriolet, incorporating unique features such as cantilevered doors and a folding windshield. Only two of these supercharged models were produced, with chassis number 141747 being the more distinctive of the pair.
