The 1953 Jaguar XK120C C-Type was a purpose-built competition version of Jaguar’s famous XK120 sports car and one of the most influential racing machines of its era. Built around a lightweight tubular spaceframe with sleek aerodynamic aluminum bodywork, the C-Type was powered by Jaguar’s 3.4-liter twin-cam inline-six engine producing roughly 220 horsepower in racing trim.
