The 1966 Ford Shelby Mustang GT350H—often called the “Hertz Shelby”—was a bold collaboration between Carroll Shelby and the Hertz Rent-A-Racer program, giving everyday drivers access to genuine race-bred performance. The GT350H was powered by a high-revving 306-cu-in V8 producing around 306 horsepower, paired with performance suspension and distinctive Shelby styling cues. Only about 1,000 examples were built, making the GT350H one of the most memorable and collectible Mustangs of the era—a street-legal muscle car with unmistakable track pedigree.
