The 1976 Triumph TR6 was the final model year of one of Britain's most iconic sports cars. Produced by Triumph Motor Company, the TR6 featured a classic, muscular roadster design with a 2.5-liter inline-six. With 150 horsepower in its earlier fuel-injected European versions (and about 105 hp in the carbureted U.S. models), the TR6 combined performance with style, featuring a wooden dashboard, minimalist interior, and independent rear suspension. By 1976, the TR6 had built a loyal following, and its simple yet spirited design remains a favorite among classic car enthusiasts today.
