The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette C7.R marked a significant milestone in Corvette Racing's history as it debuted in the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship. Developed by Pratt & Miller, the C7.R featured a 5.5-liter V8 engine producing 575 horsepower and was designed to compete in the GT Le Mans (GTLM) class. In its inaugural season, the C7.R achieved notable success, including victories at the Long Beach Grand Prix, Laguna Seca, and the 6 Hours of The Glen, contributing to a strong second-place finish in the GTLM team standings. Drivers Jan Magnussen and Antonio Garcia secured the GTLM Driver Championship with consistent performances throughout the season.
